Records

I haven't posted here for a while because my hunting hasn't been that good lately. I was able to find a couple of goodies at my local thrift store. They are mostly vinyl records (as usual).

The first record is Chariots of Fire: music from the original soundtrack by Vangelis.
This record contains one of those pieces of music that everybody heard before but don't know the name.

It is full of win.

Next one is Spring Session M by Missing Persons. I'm a big fan of synthpop music and this record is one of them. Wicked female vocals and some cheap sounding electronic equipment YAAAY!!! Check some of their songs on youtube.

New additions to my vinyl collection

This weekend I went to a Goodwill store which I haven't visited for a long time.
I didn't find anything special in the electronics section except for a beat-up Linksys router. I would have gotten it but the price tag said $20 to which I mumbled "fuck that."

I moved to the music section and started digging in the stacks of records.
There were about 10 decent records, but I only picked up 5 of them.

The first one is The Final Countdown by Europe. The condition of the record can be rated as G (maybe even worse). It still plays with minor distortions. My favorite songs on this record are "The Final Countdown" and "Carrie.

Next one is Duran Duran's first full album tittled Duran Duran. They're not my most favorite band, but their music is still nice. The record itself looks like new.

some goodies

This is my first post with pictures.
I've bought these items recently, mainly from Goodwill.

The first one is Youthquake vinyl record by Dead Or Alive (very good condition):

I haven't listened to the whole album, but one of the songs "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" is awesome.

Next one is my favorite hip-hop album called Critical Beatdown by Ultramagnetic MC's.

It's filled with crazy ass rhymes and nice beats, plus Liam Howlett sampled the whole album, so it is very entertaining to keep finding the sounds in every track.
